"As I lace up my shoes for what I think will be my last marathon, I still question why I do it. For the challenge? For all the free stuff that they tend to give away?
....or maybe just for the simple fact that I have a point to make out loud, but to myself! (Hmmmmuuh?) The only thing different from the fact that I want to cross the finish line, is that this time I have trained. I have prepared myself for the grueling 26.2 mile drag , where abouts the 20th mile (THEWALL) every thing shuts down!

But I can't explain, I keep wanting more....knowing I can't win! Its just a feeling of accomplishment....something that I achieved that everyone else was afraid of.

Well, I am relying on something that all of u can identify with...going back to the basics. You can never go wrong if you , Keep It sweet & simple, and maintain your focus on the basic training that you've had in life. Somehow that theory applies to everything. "Back To the Basics."

I wonder if there are more of you out there preparing for some sort of challenge in the near future. In Dec I'll be lacing um' up, again!http://www.klastv.com/Global/story.asp?S=3436980&nav=168XbNWZ
Hollar at me, I know Chicago is about to have their Annual marathon I believe to take place in October.

I'd like to add that Pam is doing fine, Thank GOD! All praises due!

I would like to propose a challenge to each and everyone of you out there: Bring in one new family member or close friend to join us in dialog, that has not done so yet! I still would like to see more participation in this cool communication piece. Lets grow our community! By September 10th we need to see more faces and hear more voices! I always check to see what new comment has been made! Keep up the great job! Keep the posting and comments comming!
Thank You for participating!

They say that laughter is the best medicine, I tend to agree. Maybe I laugh to much , but I can't help it people are funny to me, sometimes even when they are trying to really be serious. Like to know where I'm going with this? Okay I will give you a glimpes into my everyday. I work in a health care industrial which owns about 14 hospitals in MN. People call trying to figure out if the bill has been paid by their insurance or if they have to pay it themselevs. Here is where the ride gets tricky. People, people, people don't complain about the price of the service after you get the bill, calling me acting tough after you have received the services from the hospital. Real talk I think the hospitals should be like fastfood or grocery store with the prices right up front for you to see before you receive the services, then you can make a choice to get that well needed bypass, or transplant, or if you can put if off for a later date. Maybe when you can afford it. All I'm saying is don't call me complaining about the price after you received the care. Now that I'm healthy I choose to opt out of the transplant, Cool then bring it all back and we can reverse the procedure. No problem! A great prayer for you people is GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE,THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN , AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! CALLER: Hello sir I would like to complain about the price of the medicine you gave me to get rid of the flu. REP: Okay well I tel you what, come on back in and we can take our medicine back and just give you that flu back no problem. HAhaha. CALLER: Sir I would like to complain about the the bill I got for the stitches I got. Rep: No problem sir come on back in and we can remove the stitches and rebust your head, no problem. hahaha.

Happy Anniversary Mother & Father Shahid. I hope that one day WE too make 39yrs. It is possible for all of us married couples! Even though marriage and life brings about new changes, challenges, and struggles; we all need to look deep inside our hearts and souls. One to figure out who you really are, and two to find it in yourselves to love and honor your better half; no matter what the circumstances are! My marriage has a lot of repair to undergo; however I have loved my husband for 11+ years, and I hope that we make 39+ years. Love all of you Shahid's. Mother and Father I hope that you see many more years together.
